Album Notes
Perry Montauredes is a composer, vocalist, producer and Grammy Nominee who has co-written a novel inspired by the music on this release.

The music is a soundtrack for the novel, “Heaven’s End”. Each vocal piece depicts a scene in the story, and the emotions of the characters as they struggle through the angst of their circumstances. The two instrumentals serve as the music played at a gala solstice celebration.

This journey began almost twenty years ago when I formed the original ideas. What started out as a stage-play evolved into a screenplay, and eventually into a novel, part one of a trilogy.

In “Heaven’s End”, our heroine and her counterparts struggle with the lure of two very different immortalities that beckon from both Heaven and the lips of a vampire’s kiss.

I have included a brief description for a few songs to help set the scene.

1. Kingdom of Heaven

A thick fog surrounds a Gothic church where a funeral for the heroine’s mother is taking place. The choir sings, and the priest performs the service.

2. Light of the World

After the service, in the graveyard, the heroine hears the sound of her mother’s voice singing to her from Heaven.

3. Fallen From Grace

The bitter loss of our antagonist’s wife haunts his very existence.

4. Dream Away a Life

When our heroine’s love interest suddenly disappears, she is desperate to know why.

5. Sisters’ Fun

A piano duet played by our heroine and her sister.

6. Fleurs Pour Marie

At the grave, the priest finally reveals his love for the heroine’s mother.

7. In My Life

The protagonist confesses to the priest.

10. The Spider Dance

Our protagonist is taunted by two other vampires.

Thank you for listening. More information on the novel and music will be available on my personal site.
