Album Notes
"Fertile Grounds" is a culmination of traditional Mid-East music training, historical reference, and pop fusion. It was commissioned by the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco (de young Museum) for the 2009-2010 King Tutankhamen exhibition.

Scott Perry is a music composer, performer, and instructor residing in Northern California. His works include pieces for orchestra, string quartet, chamber ensembles, choir, film, and theater. He performs classical, ethnic, and fusion music on guitar and many other string instruments. His works have appeared at the Berlin Philharmonic, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, the San Jose Chamber Orchestra, the National Steinbeck Center, the Big Island Film Festival, the Burbank International Film Festival, the Las Vegas Film Festival, the San Jose International Short Film Festival, and the SoCal Film Festival.
