ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Pete has ridden musical trails that have found him performing with artists such as Patsy Montana and the Sons of the Pioneers. The trails he rides from his home in Truckee, California wind through the rugged and beautiful Sierras surrounding Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River. His interest in enthnomusicology, folklore and horses is undying and keeps him promoting "real" cowboy music.

Pete's family began cattle ranching in San Mateo County, California in the 1860's. Working with his father-in-law, a rancher, horse trainer and retired rodeo cowboy, has also influenced him. His passion for western folklore and respect for his heritage is evident in his song writing and his performances.

Nice to hear your voice again. Style has certainly settled since the days in Italian nightclubs (Going back to Bergamo for nephew's wedding, summer 2008). Glad to know that you are living what you love. Best wishes, Zoonie
