Album Notes
This is Michael Kirkpatrick's and Pete Kartsounes's second album, Mountain Song. As their road continues from Colorado’s Great Divide to the wilds of Alaska, Michael and Pete pour their musical adventures into folklore that reflect alpine lakes, high passes, hopes, dreams, cabins, love, and mysteries of the mountain. Mountain Song is a trip back to The Good Time Travelers roots in Bluegrass and will entertain you with its undulating, lyrical topography. In the spirit of musical friendship, The Good Time Travelers have added several guest musicians to fortify the groove including, Sam Bush, Julio Appling, Enion Pelta-Tiller, Christian Teele, and Aaron Youngberg.

Now THIS is Bluegrass!!

Great songs. I'd love to play some of these (just no covers allowed) on my syndicated show "Country Legends In The Making" that reaches 400 am/fm stations around the world. You can take a look at my radio site at and even listen to the recorded version of the show there if you like. Get back to me at if you want the airplay.
