Album Notes
The Peter Forêt Project is based in Ottawa, Ontario. Comprised of full-time pro musicians, our band is a creative outlet for exploring music styles and ideas that we don’t often get to try out while earning our livings as “jobbing” musicians. Our members have have backed up national and international artists as diverse as Tony Bennet, Alanis Morrissette, The Funk Bros., Josh Groban, Martha Reeves, just to name a few. We’re all active locally playing theatre shows, telethons, award shows, corporate gigs, writing, arranging and teaching.
Our musical influences are as diverse as our experiences. Jazz, Afro-Cuban, R & B, Funk, Jazz-Rock…each of us brings our own specialties and interests into the project, and the results are electrifying.
