ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
One summer day, a long time ago, in June of 1976
Peter came by my house in Portland, Maine
and recorded these ten songs. It was an old three
story townhouse with high ceilings, wood floors, and plaster walls that made for a beautiful echo in the rooms. I had a 1/4" tape recorder that I used for recording
my songs in progress. In 1978 I moved to Los Angeles
and these tapes sat forgotten in my brother's basement
all these years. In April of 2003 I had them baked
and then transferred to digital. Hearing them anew
brought back that day with startling clarity. The clarity of Peter's rich voice, songs, and guitar playing and
the clarity of Peter's vision as an artist. As it was,
it remains. I hope you enjoy this moment in time
brought to life again.
Larry John McNally April 2003 Los Angeles
