ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is eclectic folk/pop colored by banjo, mandolin and accordion from writer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Peter Rodocker. He’s written, recorded, and produced music that has been featured in film and TV, including MTV, CMT, ABC, CBS, CTV, and Teen Nick to name a few.
Drawing from rock, pop, indie and traditional Irish influences among many others, his sound is both foreign and familiar, while unapologetically hooky and accessible, with dynamic arrangements that flutter between complexity and sparcity, feeding off of the unique textures of their uncommon instrumentation. His melodies are considered, charming and surprising, with lyrics that can be pious or wicked, scathing or playful, sometimes all in the same breath. Most often though, they call for understanding and imply that there’s always more to everything than what you think you know, and if you pay close attention, you might be able to hear it. “Listen, really listen, or you’ll miss everything."
