ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“You’re Free (Don’t Get Surrounded By Everyday Things)”, was intended to be a Righteous Brothers album cut with Bobby Hatfield singing lead, but was never released. It was then slated as the followup to the Barracuda’s “The Dance At St. Francis”, but was again shelved. Now, this lost Bonner & Gordon gem has been lovingly recreated by Gandalf singer/guitarist Peter Sando from an acetate preserved in his library. Jack Nietzsche’s stunning arrangement, coupled with Sando’s spot-on vocal, serve up a colorful pop masterpiece in the spirit of the classic sounds of the late 60’s.
