ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Peter Vircks has assembled a crew of good friends and neighbors worthy of note for his new album of originals entitled What You Believe Is True. Drummer Kevin Washington (Moveable Feast, Nachito Herrera, Viva Brazil), acoustic bassist Roman Evaniuk (Source Code, Harry Chapin), pianist Brian Ziemniak (Yohannes Tona Band, Tina Schlieske, Blowzone) and special guest guitarist Schoen Oslund (Liars' Club, Self Help) and trombonist Michael Nelson (Horn Heads) contribute their artistry with compelling intensity. Richly captured, these compositions display a range of styles relevant to modern, crossover and contemporary jazz.
