THE CALMEST PLACE - Written and recorded by Peter Wesson ADHP(NC), ECP, FNSHP, MBRCP.

Based on nearly thirty years of practical professional experience as a consultant psychotherapist, this special audio treatment was developed to relieve anxiety and stress, worry and tension, sleeplessness and fatigue - common triggers and contributory causes of stress-related problems affecting mind and body.

Current users include business owners, company executives, shop workers, school staff, service personnel, military veterans and accident casualties amongst others, for help with problems and difficulties ranging from personal fears, relationship issues, work stress, anxiety and insomnia, to residual post-traumatic stress (PTSD).

The treatment is supplied in two, slightly different versions lasting approximately 26 minutes which can be used individually or in combination. This version, THE CALMEST PLACE, is intended to be used mainly during the day. The other, THE CALMEST PLACE TO SLEEP, is supplied as a separate download, designed for sufferers of insomnia, for use at bedtime.


Going beyond Mindfulness - beginning by focussing inwardly on the breath and voluntary muscles, on what we can control and directly experience in the present moment; away from past pain and regrets or future uncertainties; consciously letting go of tension, then expanding into the imagination, programming the self to develop calmness and inner strength - THE CALMEST PLACE and THE CALMEST PLACE TO SLEEP combine several modes of action to achieve broad results, allowing the listener to take and use whatever he or she needs.

Both offer effective relief when used as needed. Listened to regularly, they provide a training in mindfulness, through mental and physical focus and relaxation, to progressively counteract the harmful effects of tension, trauma and stress, and to promost healthy sleep patterns. For best results, daily use is recommended.

The treatment, following the introductory relaxation, takes the form of a pleasant, guided personal journey, providing positive support and incorporating special techniques for self-help and desensitisation. To aid relaxation and imagination, both versions also incorporate harmonious resonances and sound effects.

Created through many years of professional clinical experience, both versions incorporate tried and tested techniques for achieving deep relaxation and enhancing natural, peaceful sleep. For this reason, they should not be listened to while driving or operating machinery or at times when alert wakefulness is required.

Superb Audio
I do not usually write reviews but in this case I will, as I have listened to a lot of audio in this genre in the past such as kelly howell brain sync among many others but I have found this one the best so far, give it a try you won't be disappointed.
