Album Notes
San Francisco-based Phantom City plays their eclectic brand of acoustic rock with contagious passion. These five versatile musicians blend together to create a classic sound that transcends genres. The band's melodic originals feature lyrics that are both honest and relevant. Whether delivering an acoustic ballad a la CSNY or getting folks up out of their chairs, Phantom City grabs your ear and won't let go.

Each song is a unique musical journey; no cookie cutter was used to produce this project. While they write love songs (who doesn't?), they also branch out into the humorous and philosphical. And while you can hear echoes of various bands who have influenced these musicians, they have evolved together to create a modern yet organic sound all their own.

Phantom City is the path to Steven Kacsmar's City of Dreams
The lyrics and music in this CD were superb. I loved the flow of upbeat to mellow to meditative and back again. The artist, band, and backup had a blend smoother than a cool smoothie.

City of Dreams
Steven Andrew Kacsmar's insightful poetic lyrics and the band's driving energy are a hard combination to beat!

I thought the CD was great, upbeat yet mellow, and it touches the soul.
I love it, it is a great CD to actually sit down with a cup of coffee and actually listen to the words.

Great CD!
I've had the opportunity to hear the band live on a few occasions and this CD captures their music wonderfully. With a perfect selection of their various styles and great production craftsmanship this 1st CD is so much more mature than what most bands put out. The musical talent of each musician is highlighted throughout and the lyrics are what modern radio needs more of. Excellent!
