Album Notes
Phil is a native English (Englisc) folk-heritage musician from Lancashire who specialises in the music of his own English cultural heritage, or as he calls it 'the music of my ancestors'. His own English-centric compositions tend to add to this living heritage that documents the lives, aspirations and social history of Englisc people - past, present and future.

"Phil breathes new life into English folk-heritage music." ..... Roger Resch, Tonbridge Folk."

"I was delighted to have Phil support Dave Swarbrick at Cambridge; his musical capabilities and sensitive understanding of English folk-heritage music combine to make him a valued guardian and interpreter of English folk culture." .... Marion Treby, Cambridge Folk.
