ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The opening song 'Water is Wide' is a beautiful Folk song of Scottish origin. This is followed by 'Windy and Warm' a guitar instrumental.
John Lennon's 'Imagine' follows.John Lennon plays 'Imagine' on Piano and this finger style guitar version captures the wonderful melody of the song.
Wonderful Tonight by the brilliant Eric Clapton follows, and then 'Sweet 16' made famous by the Irish Group 'The Fureys and Davy Arthur'.
Stings 'Every Breath you take' has a driving base played by Mike O Dowd which will get the feet tapping.
Then 'Candle in the Wind' which Elton John sang so emotionally at Lady Diana,s funeral.
A very powerful version of Adele's 'Someone like you ' is followed by the very challenging 'We are the Champions' by Freddie Mercury and Queen.
Last but by no means l east 'The Entertainer' from the brilliant film 'The Sting'.

These 10 songs are the culmination of hours of dedicated practice by Philip and the results are most rewarding.

The Album was produced by Mike O'Dowd at his Lakeland Recording Studio, Glasson, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland and Mastered by Jonathan Callaghan of Swell Audio, Ball Alley Lane, Athlone , Co. Westmeath.

Darren Doyle of Studio 93 ,Moate, Co, Westmeath Ireland completed the Album design and Cover photography , while Tommy Berry provided the inside photo of Philip playing in Flannery's bar Athlone.
