Album Notes
Phil Rosenthal is an acclaimed folk/bluegrass musician and songwriter. He was lead singer/guitarist in the legendary bluegrass band the Seldom Scene, and selected as Connecticut State Troubadour in 1994. He is a master of banjo, mandolin and acoustic guitar, and his compositions have been recorded by many artists, including Johnny Cash, Bill Monroe, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. He lives in Connecticut, and performs as a soloist and with his wife Beth, son Daniel and daughter Naomi as the Sommers Rosenthal Family Band.
