ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Pimp The Cat is one of those bands that keeps it fresh and exciting on every show. Many people have compared the band to The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, Ratdog, Maceo Parker, The Dave Matthews Band (DMB) and Medeski Martin and Wood (MMW). Not surprisingly, many of Pimps members have played with these bands as a guest or as a member of the band.

The live show is someting to behold. It is a truly in the moment experience. There are extended jams, songs, and spontaneously composed pieces all unfolding before you, live and in real time.

Dickey Betts of The Allman Brothers Band upon listening to a mix of the first studio CD said, "Can I join your band?". Carter Beauford of The Dave Matthews Band said, "Man, you got chops coming out your #$%."

The live show is something to behold. This DVD is a very well produced and edited piece that give you insight into what all of the buzz is about. Check it out. Your gonna dig it!
