ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Don't Drive Distracted-I Pinky Swear was started after Pinky was hit by a distracted driver while riding her Harley Davidson, almost losing her leg. This campaign is to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving.
Gerald VanHalteren would sing this song to her at a local pub and the song became an emotional part of Pinky. Spending months in a wheelchair, she was determined to get back on her Harley Davidson.
Once Pinky was riding again, there is no stopping her. She is on a mission to educate the public and prevent others from the pain she lives with daily.
Pinky loves playing her Sax!! "Music and motorcycles keep me positive" (Pinky)
Gerald VanHalteren sings lead vocals and plays guitar with his boys Caleb and Gerrit on bass and drums. Pinky sings harmonies and plays a saxophone solo in the song.
This recording is made possible by the generosity of the Lindsay Boy's and Girl's Club (beautiful new studio!!) and Dante Winkler from Winkler Sound. "It's amazing seeing how our community really cares about one another. I live in the most wonderful community." (Pinky)
