Album Notes
At age 11 I discovered Rush in my back yard tree fort that hid in the heart of a Willow. There in the rainy cold weather of Seattle I heard singing and the music spoke to my soul. My life was changed forever as I heard the reverberating water falls, the lone guitar and the most beautiful male voice I had ever heard! The cassette wasn't labelled so for the next 3 years I was on a quest to find out who this band was. I finally found it to be Rush and the song was discovery from 2112. By this time Moving pictures had just been released and I quickly purchased every existing Rush album and loved every song I heard.

To date I have caught every live Rush tour, starting with Signals which required a 14 year old boy to find his way across the Canadian border to see them in Vancouver and culminating in my life long dream of seeing them in their home town of Toronto to witness the 40th Anniversary tour!

After many years of recording and touring around the world as a professional drummer (known as Paul Roraback) I've finally started writing my own music as multi-instrumentalist PJ Bostic (Using the family name I am supposed to have). Limeight, which will be on my 4th PJ Bostic release (Rush by not Rush - A Farewell to the Setting Star) is a break from my own writing to indulge in the music of the band that has inspired me for so many years. People keep asking me why I would spend so much time on a cover album and I answer politely, "Because I want to". I don't cater to pressure from the mainstream and I don't care what others think is cool. I trust the instincts of my heart to draw from the inspiration that has fed my soul over the years. I simply record music that I would like to hear...it's a trait that was fostered by a little three piece rock band out of Toronto!

Rush on my friends!
