ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Poseurs are still young, but they've been around for almost six years and have plenty of songwriting experience under their belts. Lead singer/guitarist Bryan Schwenk is about as prolific a writer as there is to be found, and his material includes some of the best pop punk tunes any local band can boast. With a fast and hard-hitting style reminiscent of bands like Green Day, Goldfinger and Blink 182, The Poseurs promise not to disappoint fans of catchy rock music.

Parables Forgotten is our sophomore release, following our beloved debut, self-titled (not a self-titled album). The new album features a more musical sound without sacrificing any of the first record's energy or drive. The foundation for each of our tunes is an infectious melody, unforgettable harmonies and solid instrumentals. Songs like N.L.D., Before Now and Lying all evoke fond memories of the way punk music used to--and should--sound.

Listen to the opening track to hear an example of the kind of quality you can expect from every single song on the CD.

Parables Forgotten is full of creative and very UNforgettable songs
This cd is the greatest thing that's ever happened to mankind. I highly recommend buying it if you don't want to be asking yourself what the point of living is the rest of your life. Buy it, please, and save your soul!!! It's the best!!! I've listened to it more than 300 times since i last bought it 2 weeks ago!.........ok that was a bit exaggerated- but it was fun to write. But anyway in all seriousness this is a great cd with really fun, driving rock songs that will constantly be playing in your head- in a good way.
