Album Notes
Positive Rising is Ian Ayers (vocals, guitar) Billy McIntyre (bass) Tyler Petershiem (lead guitar) Bill Ulsund (keys, vocals), Bret "Beo" Bailie (drums). A Seattle based Reggae band who's members have been rooted in the Reggae community for over 10 years.They formed in the summer of 2011 and they strive to bring a positive message put to catchy hooks and dancable grooves. They haved shared the stage with such acts as Natural Vibrations, Easy Star All Stars, Josh Heinrichs & Skillinjah, Kyle & C-Money of Slightly Stoopid, The Movement, New Kingston, House of Shem, Fishbone, Ethan Tucker, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, and Josh Fischel as well as other local acts such as Valley Green, The Highlife Band, The Hookys, The Approach and Tribal Order just to name a few

The band has been gaining a lot of traction recently in the local reggae scene. Their No Harm EP was a big local hit and they were the local headliner for the Homgrown NW Reggae Festival. Their debut album, Medicine Music, is set to be released early summer, 2015. They look forward to a bright future in music and strive to bring their great energy and positivity to every show they play.
