ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Prabir Mehta is the lead singer of the rock band Murfreesboro. This is a solo outing done on acoustic guitar.

He keeps his same wit and charm in these slightly sarcastic songs of love and the pursuit of happiness, but delivers things in a different way.

Plenty of fun is incorporated to keep the album from droning into dull acoustic oblivion.

"Panny Ruble Baber" features a drum machine and computer.

"Don't Cry For Me, Pennsylvania" include vocal overdubs at interesting rhythmic spots.

"I Want You" explodes at the end into a drunken, screaming fury of heartbreak.

This is Prabir at his finest, broken down to simple guitar pop and great songwriting. Easy to follow chord progressions and intelligent lyrics light the way for this simple, laid back album.
