Kunz (2014 Remaster Edition)

by Pseudofonia

The Pseudofonia play a mixture of reggae, ska, soundtracks and songwriting, upbeat rythms dear to Jamaica associated with pulses from the Apulian tradition. A sort of a new patchanka, with lyrics about social subjects and surreal things.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
[ITA]

[ENG]
The Pseudofonia band was born in 1989 in the Art Secondary School in Foggia, Apulia, Italy.
They play a mixture of reggae, ska, soundtracks and songwriting, upbeat rhythms coming from Jamaica associated with pulses from the Apulian tradition.
A new sort of patchanka, with lyrics about social subjects and surreal tales, written in Italian and Apulian dialect, with fast rhythms. In 1999 they released the first CD, an E.P. called KUNZ, enthusiastically reviewed by important music magazines, such as Il Mucchio Selvaggio, Buscadero and Rock Sound.
KUNZ is now being released again by the label RadioSpia, in a re-mastered version with a much better sound, enriched with a live song from 1998, under the supervision of the same producer and sound engineer of 1999.
