ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Publish The Quest is destined to make a difference both at home and abroad. The group’s new album 'A Thousand Kind of Gold' features Nneka, Oliver Mtukudzi, Vieux Farka Toure, and Matt Chamberlain. Strong bonds and like-minded philosophies have made these collaborations possible. The best way to describe the bands blend of stomp rhythms, sassy horn lines, and vocally driven compositions is that it's music that makes you shake your body and think at the same time.
The band has a strong social component, working closely with Learn Africa (a non-profit) to further its mission of empowerment through the arts. To date, Publish The Quest has worked with the organization in Cape Verde and Zimbabwe.
