“''Over the last year PussyWillowFurryVenus have astounded audiences and received rave reviews for their electric live performances''”
- Radio Prudhoe, Radio Prudhoe

Sticky Vicky, the opening track on PussyWillowFurryVenus’ latest EP, The Slag Who Fell To Earth, is a real furnace blast of intent with prowling guitars really let off the leash in a pell-mell rush of pure adrenaline with the vocals spat out like they’ve been fired from a shotgun. It’s a real sugar rush, particularly as it also demonstrates their superlative playing style that is as tight as Kylie’s hotpants. It’s a wonderful seven-tracker of an EP and a real showcase for the band’s many talents. Mighty Aphrodite and In Doom show that they know how to do the broodingly monumental while Black Dahlia demonstrates a real ability to slow things right down without losing any of their vice-like grip and power. - Crack Magazine Oct 2015

“Wild alternative rock, female-fronted, stylish and uncompromising”
- Saltburn Calling, Saltburn Calling (May 24, 2015

The delightfully named PussyWillowFurryVenus have recently had their storming track ‘Hateful’ played on BBC Introducing and have an O2 Academy show confirmed in Newcastle for June, but this is the best way to see them; up close and in your face! As their debut EP, The Slag Who Fell To Earth confirmed, PussyWillowFurryVenus pull no punches. From the unapologetic raw sexuality of vocalist Steph Mac, to the riffarama of guitarist Rob Liam Lowery and from the androgyny of bassist Leah Landmine to new drummer Dave ‘Slayerdude’ McQuillen; the band are as much a visual treat as they are an assault on the ears. Tracks such as ‘Sticky Vicky’ – sounding like Babes In Toyland fronting Bleach-era Nirvana – and the post-grunge hardcore of ‘In Doom’ showcase the bands intensity, with plenty of vocal harmonies and instant riffs thrown in for good measure. - Gigs North East 19.02.2016

' The futures bright, the futures Pussy' - Tim Coid Synergy Radio

PussyWillowFurryVenus - The Slag Who Fell To Earth
I first heard of PussyWillowFurryVenus when they supported The Sex Pissed Dolls at The Point, Sunderland March 2016. The exceptional song 'Sticky Vicky' was an instant hit with Rob's memorable guitar riff and Leah's pounding bass line. Steph's performance and vocals were second to none and Slayerdudes drumming brings everything together. The band gained a large number of followers after that gig. The whole album is definitely worth a listen to, melodic vocals, heavy grunge sounds and the acoustic songs are exceptional. PussyWillowFurryVenus have a style of their own that no one comes close to. EXCELLENT album.
