ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Queen Anne's Lace is the vocal group singer/composer/arranger Anne Phillips used on many commercials she wrote including "Taste The Beats The Others Cold, Pepsi Pours It On." She arranged the songs on this album, some of them major hits of the era, some originals and two by a young writer, Peter Cofield. She used five guys and herself with two guys, Jerry Duane and Jerry Keller on the top part, Trade Martin and herself on the middle line and Gene Steck and Don Meehan on the lower line. The arrangements are exciting and unusual and the vibrant sound of the group might bring to your memory the sound of those hose award-winning commercials.
