ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Through the years, they have established themselves as one of the region's most popular bands, recorded two studio albums and two live albums, were nominated to the initial ballot of the 36th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Traditional Blues Album for Dealing The Blues and have toured all over the world playing their brand of blues.

The band has opened for and played with some of blues' greats -- besides opening for B.B. King, Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band has shared stages with Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Buddy Guy, The Holmes Brothers Band and even played two sets with Eric Clapton's guitar hero, Otis Rush.

This is a tribute to a great Central PA band from the State College area : Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band. There is little representation of this band on the internet and as a blues fan and a Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band, it is necessary to keep their legacy alive. From playing festivals in Europe, to opening for BB KING to playing the hometown crowd at Cafe 210 West, this group has played it all. Please enjoy the memories!
