Album Notes
This double 10" vinyl is the debut album from Quiet World, created by Ben Stokes, (Meat Beat Manifesto, Tino Corp.)

Stokes blazed a trail with his release of the EP, House of God by Dimensional Holofonic Sound, (DHS,) back in 1990. The title track became a techno anthem and global hit, and has been featured in DJ sets by Aphex Twin, Ken Ishi and Joey Beltram.

The DHS EP was reviled by other giants in electronic music like The Orb, Josh Wink, Jack Dangers and DJ Shadow, all of whom Stokes has later collaborated with as a visual artist.

The DHS EP was accompanied by ground breaking videos by Stokes that aired on MTV and became influential to visual artists like Hextatic and Emergency Broadcast Network, (EBN.)

While the electronic music scene flourished through the 90's Stokes was busy directing award winning music videos for the likes of Public Enemy, Nine Inch Nails, De La Soul, The Orb and Ministry.

Currently, Stokes is a member of Meat Beat Manifesto and, together with Jack Dangers, runs Tino Corp. Records, of which Quiet World, Relaxalot is the Label's 14th release. All the while, Stokes continues directing and designing visual work for a host of clients including DJ Shadow's live shows, (Since 2001,) building projections for S.F.City Hall as well as performing as a VJ at EDM Festivals across the country.

Meat Beat Manifesto and DJ Shadow are both touring in 2016.
