Album Notes
Southern HipHop Gospel Music artist Quincy Whetstone aka Q-Stone, is a producer, artist, and songwriter. Quincy’s musical style of ministry mixes rap, spoken word, acoustic guitar and dance, and has been described as energetic, unique, powerful, joyful and appealing to all ages. Quincy has performed in concerts with The Wall’s Group, Dorinda Clark Cole, Brian Courtney Wilson, Kathy Taylor, Charles Jenkins, Zacardi Cortez and more. Quincy’s unique ministry has allowed him to minister his music in front of unique audiences including The UniverSoul Circus and Six Flags Over Texas. He has been nominated for several gospel music awards including four Rhythm of Gospel Awards and five Radio Alliance Awards, and was the winner of Dorinda Clark Cole’s Houston SMAC showcase.

After spending years in the music industry as a producer, Quincy took a break from a culture he deemed was themed around money, sex, drugs and materialism. However, his sabbatical couldn't last long, as he knew his calling was to minister with spiritual and meaningful music. Music has the power to change a culture, and his mission is to help change the detrimental environment much of today's music occupies by offering the world his faith-based music he calls “Southern HipHop Gospel”.
