Album Notes
San Francisco-based pianist, vocalist and songwriter Rabbit Quinn crafts otherworldly tales reminiscent of unconventional piano rock storytellers such as Kate Bush, Nina Simone, Tom Waits and Tori Amos. Quinn transforms her footprints into compositions which are delicate, dark and romantic.

Quinn began work on her powerful debut offering, Lost Children, while studying music at UC Davis. Skilled at drawing and painting, she also created the artwork for the album. The songs of Lost Children are cathartic, poetic snapshots exploring themes of self-worth, death, sexuality and transformation.

Her sophomore album, "Painted Fan" is set for release August 25th, 2017 in tandem with her show, headlining at San Francisco's legendary Cafe du Nord. Grappling with heartbreak and inspired by soul, New Orleans jazz, tango, choral, and gospel music, Rabbit launched a successful Kickstarter to bring to life her album of passionate gothic fables. Here she is performing a track off the new album at the Great American Music Hall:

After building a solid local following in the San Francisco Bay Area, Quinn has begun touring nationally, both solo and performing with her band.

Gorgeous Record
Rabbit Quinn never disappoints with this heartbreakingly beautiful record. Her piano lines and vocals are perfectly complemented by the backing band. The song's lyrics delve into love, betrayal, and confrontation. This is easily my favourite cd of the year.
