Album Notes
A Berklee graduate in music performance and jazz composition, Rabih Rihana has established himself as a first class Keyboardist and composer who is well respected by many fellow musicians around the globe and backed with a loyal fan base that stretches from California into eastern Europe.

Born and spent his childhood/teen years in Lebanon, he started performing recitals on classical piano at an early age. After hearing his first Aziza Mustafa Zadeh CD and his first Chick Corea CD, he decided what he wants to be: a performing composer.

At age 18, he moved to the USA and attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music which is known for having attendees such as Sting, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, Aerosmith, Sarah Mclaughlin, John Mayer, Prince, Dream Theater, Chick Corea , along with many more musical icons.
It is at Berklee where Rabih discovered new dimensions in music composition and performance techniques, which helped him create his own unique style, not only as a composer but as a performer as well.

While in the US, he had the pleasure to perform and record studio projects with some of the world’s most exciting jazz musicians, such as Martin Valihora(drummer for Hiromi), Mitch Cohn (bassist for Waking Vision), Gilad Ronin ( saxophonist for Herbie Hancock), Franco Pinna (New York based session Drummer) and many more....

In 2006, his song Phoenicia won the first prize for “best instrumental rock song” at the New York International songwriting competition. The song was written to describe Lebanon’s constant battle to find its own identity throughout history.

Besides being driven by his favorite musical idols, what truly inspires Rabih is his love and appreciation for mother nature. Therefore, many of his compositions seem to give the listener a feeling of disconnection from the material world and the indulgence in a fantasy world where the listener gets to be the director of his own movie or the author of his own story.
This is the reason why Rabih’s fan base truly ranges from all different ages, because everyone can relate to his music in a different way.

“For me, writing music is a connection to a fantasy world, and is also a simple act of appreciation to god for blessing me with such a gift” – Rabih Rihana

Saw his trio perform live in Philly. Unbelievable! Very explosive! The talent, the music...just jaw dropping! I came back home and bought his CD right away.I would pay serious "big act" money to watch them play again! They're that good!
