Album Notes
This record is deeply imbedded in southern rock roots with a hearty injection of souful country attitude. Unmistakibly real with driving guitar overtones and outstanding arrangements, these songs will undoubtedly make you feel like you're who they were written for.

Produced by Mike Kinnamon.

This is a masterful compilation of songs compiled by a small group of guys relatively new in the familiarity department to one another. Lyman Ellerman and Jerry Turley, after leaving their last project, Redd Skyy, finally were introduced by manager Mike Kinnamon to Jason Morgan and Gary Welch. After only eight months of working together they have successfully finished their first full disc production.

This group of songs easily defines the direction the band is headed. Ellerman, along with other veteran songwriters from all over the USA who have settled in to the Nashville, Tn area, wrote and co-wrote every song on the record. Yep, all 14 of them!!

As a band...., Ragged Jack is scoring rave reviews out on the road. Struggling along, but gaining momentum with every turn of the wheel, they're just getting started. Watch for good things in their camp. Hope you enjoy!!

Listen to this - then find them live!
This CD is worth many listenings - get to the lyrics and
then pay attention to the individual talent of every member.
Then try to find when these guys will be close enough to
see in person. They put a lot of energy and reality in
their concert performances. Humor also - I only gave them
four stars because I'm spoiled - I saw them do all these
cuts and then cover a few classics - they really light up
the room in person!

Good old fashion rock with heart
Excellent CD, very well written, the songs have a nice flow, shows the writters and perfomers live and feel what they do. Good southern old fashion rock with heart.

Southern Rock IS NOT DEAD! Ragged Jack is the future! Look 4 IT
Skynyrd, Tucker, and the Allmans all have to patch together a band to put on the road to try and keep Southern Rock alive. No longer, the future is HERE! I'm an indie DJ, on an indie station. I play what I want, not what I'm told, and I CHOOSE to play this Ragged Jack CD; on the air and off. Every cut is worthy of air-play. All the members are true craftsmen with real talent, who love what they do, and work to perfect their product; be it a CD, or a live show. Catch them if you can!

Best combination of musical reality Yet
As a former member of the Ellerman-Turley entourage for all of the devoloping years, this is an extremely realistic version of quality musical reality they always bring with them and the enthusiasm with which they deliver. Thumbs Up
