ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Inspired by the crashing of the ocean, the creak of the back porch, the crunch of homemade tacos, and the wonders of wine, Portland Maine based quartet Ramblin' Red takes you down original folk roads with old-time twists and bluegrass turns, in funky dance-off shoes. And they always bring you home satisfied. They’re fun-loving gals with serious soul and unrivaled harmonies:

Anna Maria Tocci (vocals, guitar, bass), soulful singer/songwriter, café entrepreneur & creative mentor, makes the angels jealous with her rich, elegant voice. Crème de la crème. Plus, she makes a mean latte.

Sorcha Cribben-Merrill (vocals, guitar, banjo), singer/songwriter & collaborative artist, whispers and wails in true blues-folk-jazz fashion, wielding guitar & claw-hammer banjo, but usually not at the same time. While doing her happy dance. In green pants.

Patia Maule (vocals, fiddle), musical genius pretty much sums up this one - on the fiddle, steel drums, piano....oh, and did we mention she's an Irish music fanatic/genius? And addicted to Cadbury chocolate eggs?

Therese Workman (vocals, guitar, bass), aka Oh My Goodness, brilliant multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter who can also make you fall off your chair laughing without even uttering a word. All it takes is some pogosticks and rollerskates. Yes, she's just that damn good.
