Album Notes
A bouncy, humorous argument between a couple. Fascinating instrumental mixture of Reggae back beat/guitar and country lead guitar for the melody. An increasingly drunken Mexican mariachi band (trumpets, harmonicas) plays the chorus, a total of six times. (They get louder and more off key each time.) The woman accuses the man of cheating and having an explosive temper; he accuses her of being a paranoid nag and immature. Despite the lyrics the total effect is amusing. Caution for very young listeners: at one point she complains that she is fed up with his #%*& (starts with the letter "S"). There is an enjoyable instrumental after the first three verses, then several more verses, then a very short instrumental, and then final verses. You will be wagging your head and chuckling as you listen, and humming the catchy chorus in the shower for the next day or two.
