Detroit Thang

by Randy Volin and the Hard Ones

Fun, authentic modern old school songwriting. Full blown 'blues' playing and rock n roll balled up into how music used to be...One foot steeped in the past and the other in the now....absolutely DETROIT!!!

Album Notes
This recorded group of songs are what rock n roll and blues, sound like when you kick it around for awhile. Blues based but not your grandpa's blues, but also not your modern day, over saturated, too many licks, guitar in your face, "looky at me" guitar playing....a natural ebb and flow. More about tone, and phrases that stick to the wall, than testosterone induced guitar stylings. Try it, you might like it...
