ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Raphael de Balanda has released 5 albums, "Conundrum" in 1995, "From the cellar" in 1999, "Fountain 3" in 2003, "Acoustic aquarelles" in 2007, and "The whirling myob" in 2012.

Raphael was originally a drummer, got his first drumkit at age 14, and started playing in a band in France. He also started learning the piano, composing and singing before moving to the US at age 23. He continued being a drummer in different bands in the US before focusing more on his own materials. He learnt the guitar and bass, and improved his song-writing capabilities through the years. He's using Logic 9 to record his music. His influence is quite vast, from classical music to Jazz, to world music, sacred music and pop/rock music.
