Album Notes
Multi-talented Raquel Zepeda has the rare gift of astute business sense coupled with artistic creativity. Raquel, a native of El Paso, Texas, and first generation Mexican American, first started singing in the neighborhood plays that she and her club produced. In her second year of school, she tested at a genius level on intelligence quotient tests, and scored “near perfect pitch” in musical ability. At the school's request and for lack of monies to purchase a piano, Raquel studied the violin. She played violin for the next six years and sang in the school choir until she graduated high school. Raquel eventually moved to California where she did some part-time professional work in singing, acting and modeling.

Raquel's creative endeavors include several publications,“The Eye of Osiris,” a mystery, “Color Me Golden” a beauty guide, “Think Blots” (www.dementeddiagnosis.com) a greeting card line, and fragrance “Sabor A Mi” (www.raquelinc.com). Most recently, Raquel was accepted into Strathmore's Who's Who 2000.
