ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After a long absence following their 'Happy Accidents' album, these were the first new recordings from Michigan's Rascal Reporters in several years, and both their own and Wafer Face Records' first compact disc release (1995). This CD is an amazing wealth of catchy melodies, rhythms and ideas from America's preeminent challengers to the European heavyweight progressive tradition. Recalling the best moments of early Genesis, Egg and even the Beach Boys, the Rascal Reporters make sense of the seemingly oceanic gulch between experimental music and beautiful song writing. Perhaps the duo's best work to date; certainly their most diverse!

Thanks to a special arrangement with Wafer Face Records, we can now offer this unusual piece of underground music history through Hebbardesque/CD Baby!

Electromotive Records says: "Peculiar pop ballyhoo from this prolific, legendary Michigan duo. Dark-edged ditties in weird arrangements abound, fueled by their twisted personalities and love for prog sounds."
