Album Notes
Artist “Rashun Fortune” is a hip-hop/R&B/soul artist born in Anderson, South Carolina.
He moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend college. His stage name is derived from his middle name given at birth and his perspective on what life has provided for him. Music has been his passion since the early 2000s.

Beginning in school Rashun developed and refined his sounds from a wide variety of artists into a single unique spin on his own interpretation of Hip-Hop and Rhythm and Blues.

And that is just what Rashun is doing! He is keeping busy by performing at local clubs and coffee shops. He is developing new music while busy mixing his past works into a new compilation set to be released soon. He has a background and history all too familiar to the southern population in South Carolina, but he is determined to stamp his own mark in the music industry through hard work and dedication to the one love in his life: Music. Below are a couple of quotes from his original music put it in perspective.

Having played in numerous local and regional clubs in the Carolinas, and Georgia, he has established a strong local following. Volume 11, Raleigh, NC, Berkeley Cafe, Raleigh, NC, Sheraton Hotel, Raleigh, NC, Shaw University, Raleigh, NC, Legend Cafe, Atlanta, GA, Club Broadway, Anderson, SC are just a few of the many places that have been graced with his incredible sounds.
He has several years of formal music experience, and 13 years total in writing, recording, playing a variety of instruments and playing in several bands including some jazz bands. He got on with T.L. Hanna Jazz Band, traveled to Chicago, New Orleans and Texas for performances. In addition, he enjoys teaming up with many talented individuals from Anderson, SC, Raleigh, NC and Atlanta, GA.
