Album Notes
Kasey was born in Kansas City, but raised in a small town in East Texas. As a child, every summer she made her pilgrimage to the mid-west to join her family and sit in with her uncles, grandparents, and long-time friends of the family as music was made in to the wee hours of the morning. She has never known life without music. Likewise, her music takes on a great life.

Kasey Rausch - Americana artist remains true to her roots.
This is Americana music with all it regional distinction, unfiltered by corporate radio's homogenization. Radio aims for the masses and its' aim is usually bad. Kasey's songs aim for the heart and Cupid rides shotgun on her shoulder. She is Americana not by choice, but because it is in her blood or came with her like the color of her eyes. Do I know her? Am I a relative? No, unfortunately, we have never met. But I'm sure we will - the world ain't such a big town anymore. SEE YA! PtH (Twang Town, USA)
