R A W troubadour/ Pieces of Origin

by Randall A Walker

Thought provoking acoustic simplicity with some jazzy Bluesy flavors, a country piece and other tales insearch of a better oxymoron, "intense easy listening."

Album Notes
If you take a step back from the mass produced way of life and look in the direction of the handcrafted or live performance part of this world, you may find that many people still enjoy experiencing the unique moments of life that happen in small but savory bites. A great cup of coffee with a close friend that lingers in memory and returns when the aromatics of life call the picture of that single moment back to mind. A song by a street musician may cause a chain reaction of singing or dancing as you look around at other people responding to something real in life. People watching can also take you away from the conditioned response of the advertised life.

What do you notice in life?

Some people like to look at their mirror reflection, imagining their own alter ego inside. They like to bring the delusion to life and be instantly, magically changed for a while.
Then someone will call out their name or come over, askin' if they're all right, they'll turn with a frown or blank look on their face and say, "something's in my eye!"
I like to go downtown window shopping, disguised with designer bags looking to buy, and when I find me a wall full of mirrors, I spy the side vision on the left and the right.
I'm not looking for beauty or beast in the view, that's not my thing at all, I'm looking for someone who's lost their reflection, lost it in the wall... Hmmm

There are many reflections of RAW to be discovered in these recordings that will move you from the hype and overproduced sounds of everyday music to a realm of a live and personal experience in sound. Just what is an "Indie" if not independent of the mass?

You may have seen a MOONBEAM and soon you will hear one, but, ... not yet from this place. How sweet the sound!

A delightful comfort to the soul on a sunny day or rainy night, ...
Altogether this is an album that makes the listener feel he has a friend. An
album that you put on to make the opposites meet, to blend the opposites
together and create a full circle of enjoyment. Whether you listen to it on
a sunny morning, or a rainy night it will comfort the soul. Or you stream it
when you're blue, the green will glow from it. And this is quite an
achievement in my humble opinion! It's a delightful piece of music deserving
a warm spot on the top shelf of my cd collection. And I can proudly say that
I have copy number 18 out of the 100. So there is a flower for me too here
for I have accomplished something by lending an ear to a musician who is now
taking me on a journey, for I feel the road is also ahead of us...

This is a great CD! It really can't be stuck into a certain category, and that
Whether you want to call the music on the CD blues, rock, or country, it is definitely worth listening too. The songs are very true to emotion and when set against the acoustic guitar, a truly "raw" sound is the result.

Soothes the soul...Takes you places uncommon in todays music
A very smooth and well done piece of art

Superb Americana
I've had the pleasure of hearing many Randall's songs over the last year, and I gotta say this...they're all world class. He's certainly amongst the most honest artists I've stumbled across in many a moon.
