Tammy Raybould is used to flying just under the radar. And fly she does-higher and higher with each passing year. After a stellar 2003, and with the release of her next album expected in early 2004, the Ottawa-based singer-songwriter is poised to soar to even greater heights.

It isn't just Tammy's unforgettable voice and infectious personality that has won her respect both at home and abroad. Her success is a combination of pipes, passion, soul and blisteringly honest songwriting. As Mark Maheu, General Manager of CHUM Group Radio in Ottawa said of Tammy, "you hear a raw energy and passion that you don't find in a lot of music." The Kingston Whig Standard's Christine Varga put it this way: "The power of her songs is a combination of the subtlety of her lyrics and the power of her voice."

Tammy's renown is clearly growing. In the last year alone, her single "Loving You" was selected for a compilation album tied to the hit TV series Dawson's Creek and Tammy won a full endorsement from California's Daisy Rock Guitars, which also sponsors artists such as Joan Osborne, Lisa Loeb and Robert Smith of The Cure. In October 2003, Tammy was invited to New York to participate in a CMJ Music Conference showcase sponsored by the U.S.A. Songwriting Competition. She was also named one of the "Great Women of Song" by CD Baby Radio at MP3.com (http://mp3.com/stations/cdbaby3).

When Tammy's as-yet-untitled album is released next year, it will be just the latest offering from a gifted artist whose career has steadily gained momentum since the release in 1998 of her inaugural EP, Façade. Her follow-up album, 2000's Maybe, was distributed nationally through Sony Music Canada while the video for "Loving You" achieved rotation on both MuchMusic and MuchMoreMusic. By 2001, Tammy had been nominated for Best New Solo Artist at The Canadian Radio Music Awards alongside Nelly Furtado, Sarah Harmer, Molly Johnson and Adam Gregory.

Tammy's performing credits include an appearance at Lilith Fair (with Sarah McLachlan) in 1998 and, in 2000, at New York City's historic Bitter End rock club in Greenwich Village, which has hosted musicians from Joan Baez to Neil Young. Tammy has also opened for the likes of 54-40, Sloan and Wide Mouth Mason.

Just where Tammy's career will take her from here is anybody's guess. But with wings like those, nothing can stop her now.

The CD was fabulous. Everyone keeps asking me who it's by when I play it. Tammy's voice is so strong and yet melodic. What a combination!...the only thing I regret is that there weren't more CD's of hers to buy! Very sincerely, this CD is far superior to most of the music out there. Very impressed!

Great CD, can't stop listening to it!
I first found out about Tammy Raybould through her music featured on Dawson's Creek and the website www.dawsonscreekmusic.com. Purchased this CD through CD Baby and what can I say, it never left the CD player in my car. Also purchased MAYBE and can't wait for her next one to come out this fall. Sometimes a CD as a whole "speaks to you" and this is one of those. Great meaningful lyrics and arrangements.

I've been hesitating on getting this cd for a while but, oh boy!, I'm so glad I bought it!
Tammy's songs are very catchy, especially the one called "Loving You". A very good album from a very complete (and nice!) artist. Can't wait to hear more from her!

This CD was AMAZING! Her lyrics are deep and the melodies are easy to listen to and could easily be played on the radio or in television shows/movies. TAMMY ROCKS!
