Strange World is a guitar lovers dream!!!
From the top-notch production to Ray Detones soaring, emotional, guitar work, Strange World is a guitar lovers dream! Ray has a very unique tone and plays with a rare fire, passion and finesse. Hoedown (from A. Copeland's Rodeo) just screams of Ray's technical abilities as well as his uncanny knack for sounding totally spontaneous. He's all over the guitar. There are no mindless 'hit any note' leads on this CD. Ray plays from the heart. I've enjoyed this CD for a couple months now, always hearing new details with each listen. This CD just doesn't get old!
The production is flawless, making it a sonically enjoyable CD as well. I highly recommend Strange World to any and ALL fans of great guitar players such as Eric Johnson, Stev Vai, Steve Morse, and anyone else who plays with pure soul. Ray is destined for greatness. Catch him now...on his way up!
