Album Notes
The RC5, formed in 1997, features members from Austin and Seattle's finest punk Bands: Zipgun, The Kent 3, AMA, & Jesus Christ Superfly. Extensive US & European tours have enabled the band to gain a devoted following. In addition to an exhilarating touring schedule, The RC5 supports such artists as Epitaph's Zeke and enjoys recording, refining, and redefining their blazing punk-rock sound. This dynamic sound has secured the band shows with The New Bomb Turks, The Supersuckers, Electric Frankenstein,

Gas Huffer, The Briefs, Pegboy, The Real Mckenzies, and The Fastbacks. Rolling Stone, Spin, The Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post have all written outstanding reviews in praise of The RC5. A reviewer at Flipside Magazine commended the band by writing, "[The RC5's] splattered out machine gun style in tight, no frills of rock 'n' roll [songs] that seldom clock in at more than two minutes,... may be short term but the effect is long lasting." On Run Baby Run, The RC5's sixth album release, these catchy,

memorable hooks are brillantly realized in "Gotta Weekend," "Go, Go Girl," and the title-track. Run Baby Run will assure you that punk-rock is alive and well in Seattle under the vigilant care of The RC5.

Five songs here, all of which rock hard and fast.
Whooooo, baby, a hot new CDEP from one of Seattle's finest rock'n' roll combos! Five songs here, all of which rock hard and fast. "Gotta Weekend" kicks things off with its paean to the life of the workingman. "Our Generation" just plain kicks with distorted vocals and almost early Hardcore
punk sound. "Go Go Girl" has great "go go girl" and "whoah" backing vocals and a hook that doesn't quit. The title track is another corker, and finally they have laid down in the studio their live cover fave, the Nervous Eater's classic "Just Head." Yeah!
