Album Notes
There comes a day in everyone’s life when they realize there must be more.

“Music was the only thing that took me there,” admits singer and guitarist Dustin W. “When push came to shove, music was the only thing left that seemed real.” It is this passion and love for music that brought the alternative rock band, Reality Addiction , finally together. All hailing from New Jersey, the band is comprised of Dustin Widofsky (Vocals/Guitars), Ben Antelis (Drums/Vocals), Sheep (Bass), and Robby Tal (Lead Guitar).

In the summer of 2007 the band released their first self-titled EP. The overwhelming response of the release drew CD sales from all over the country, and over 125,000 plays on their Myspace in a very short period of time. This past September 08' the band released their debut album "Maybe Now You'll Listen" which drew sales from around the globe.

Through performing at just about every club, bar, venue and street corner in Israel and the NY/NJ area, Reality Addiction has become a well known act. Along with being hired by a large range of colleges, festivals and parties, the band has moved up quickly with appearances that include: performing at Six Flags Over Georgia with Natasha Bedingfield, playing numerous other Six Flags theme parks around the country, performing with the chart-topping duo, Evan and Jaron (Crazy for this Girl) at the Schottenstein Cultural Center in Midtown Manhattan, playing at Rutgers University with Max Bemis of Say Anything, headlining a stage at the Bamboozle Festival, and many more.

In January '09 Reality Addiction entered into a well-known competition called The Break Contest. The contest consisted of 160 bands from New Jersey, all competing for the right to perform at The Bamboozle Festival in May. Three rounds and four months later, the guys found themselves at the Finals (being judged live) by some renown industry pros from places like Live Nation, Sirius/XM Radio, Rhapsody, 3 Doors Down, Doghouse Records, Killbrand Clothing and many more. Reality Addiction was chosen along with 15 other bands to advance to The Bamboozle Festival at the Meadowlands Sports Complex(Giants Stadium). This year Bamboozle was attended by over 35,000 people and featured artists such as No Doubt, Fall Out Boy, Third Eye Blind, Sum41, Boys Like Girls, Demi Lovato, Taking Back Sunday and many, many more.

Tracks can be purchased on Itunes, Amazon,, and most other online music vendors.

It\'s about time!
I\'ve been waiting for this album since the EP. I was well worth the wait. Although I DO have my favorites on the album (that I won\'t list, because that is something very subjective, and I want people to decide for themselves), every song is done just so well. I love the violin parts added that weren\'t on the EP added so much to the music. They were just great. As other people have noted, Dustin\'s vocals are completely on the entire CD, and there is so much emotion in them that they pull you right into the music. I was surprised to hear Robby Tal soloing in a few songs, because I haven\'t heard him solo in anything until this album came out. The solos were amazing. Very tasteful and not overdoing it. The piano parts were great too, and I liked how they sometimes mimicked the guitars.
Great job guys, you should be proud. Keep Rockin\'!

Reality Addiction Rocks!
Finally....this day has come! The album is awesome and they haven\'t lost the original sound! Can\'t wait for the many more albums to follow!

Cool + Good Wishes
Songs are amazing as always! Good wishes to the band and a Happy Birthday to Robby!

Brilliant Debut Album
Reality Addiction Debut Album

Review: Ozglobal~Indieportal-Myspace

When I first heard this band I was instantly struck by the professional sound and thought immediately, this is no ordinary garage band!

For a debut album, from a relatively young, unknown band (but not for long), this album has burst onto the market carrying everything the ep promised and so much more than we would even expect from a fully seasoned Major league band. In my opinion, RA are already there.

Here we have a set of 12 tracks that is impossible to fault in any way. Not only are the lyrics of every song superbly written, but each and every one, led with perfect vocals from the lead singer/guitarist, Dustin Widofsky, with expert back up harmonies, the music, all of it drums, guitar and strings etc, are all top class.

“People Die Building Bridges” leads us into a journey of love, coloured by introspective and retrospective views of romance, perhaps best expressed by everybody’s favourite track, “Something Like That”, sure to become a number 1 hit for RA.

Indeed there are several songs on this album, including “Almost Beautiful” another favourite of the peeps already, “The Story of You and I” and “A Little Light Please” I predict to make it to the charts. “No Way to Lose” is a social statement, reflecting the plight of youth in today’s world.

There is a raw emotion that is the signature of this band and is drawn through the entire album, but is most evident in “Bleeding Through” and “Silent World”

Each track tells a story to which all of us can relate, the “thing” that seems to be the magic of this extraordinary band. This album is a fully matured master work on every level. There is no direction but up, for Reality Addiction from here - and the stratosphere is looming!

Congratulations RA on the launch of this brilliant debut album!

Awesome CD!
If you want to hear some great music, then Reality Addiction is the band for you. Maybe Now You’ll Listen, the bands debut album, is by far my favorite cd of the year. Yes, it is that good! Each and every song is so well written and I can not find a single one that would be considered filler. Dustin’s vocals are spot on throughout the entire cd. He just grabs your attention and makes sure you listen to the story he is telling. Also, the guitars, drums, harmonies, the lyrics, and everything are just incredible!

With an album this good, it is hard to pick out favorite tracks. But I would have to say my favorites are Something Like That, People Die Building Bridges, A Sad Song, To Love Life, and The Story of You and I.

This band has a bright future and I’m excited to watch and see where they go from here!
