Album Notes
Tzena Tzena is an old, Jewish army song from 1941 Palestine, before Israel was created in 1948. It was made famous by artists such as Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Richard Tucker, Chet Atkins, Connie Francis, Arlo Guthrie, The Barry Sisters, The Weavers, Pete Seeger, Chubby Checker, and many others. This is a new, modern version with a nod to world music, specifically kwaito or township music. The singers, from many different countries, contributed their own lyrics in their own native languages from Amharic to Zulu!

Thanks for maintaining our Jewish heritage alive! Outstanding , REBBESOUL, as always!

Absolutely love this
This is the catchiest , and coolest, remake of this song EVER. I just wish some of the more global sounds had been included in the demo for people who aren't familiar with you to be able to hear your genius. I want to share this with friends throughout Latin America--you're a genius!

The best version yet!!!
Leave it to RebbeSoul to take a tune that I remember from my childhood, and turn it inside out and round and round into one of the hippest things I've heard recently. African singers, great rhythm and of course awesome guitar tracks are what do the job. The production value is also 2nd to none. This is all around a totally fantastic and unique single, and you will love having it in your collection.
