The Re-Bops deliver Detroit! Join us on the Motor City mail route for a story about a Postwoman, two friends, and a girl and her dog. It's all tied together by songs with that Detroit sound made famous in the '60s by artists like The Temptations, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, and Marvin Gaye, and done only as The Re-Bops can!

"...The Postwoman's and the kids' day is also filled with a runaway dog and a hilarious musical skit. There are (eleven) great songs, charming repartee, and a happy ending."
Booklist 1998

"This is a lively resurrection of Motown Hits with a twist. Old favorites like 'Please Mr. Postman' and 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' are woven into a clever tale about the challenges of relationships with friends, parents, teachers and even Rover. A singing mail carrier with a heart of gold and wisdom beyond her route chats with kids, listens to their woes and offers a song to help resolve each dilemma. Kids join in the dialogue, the solutions and best of all, the songs.
Woman's Day KIDS magazine, Editor's Choice

"...Blues-belter Sandra Wright is a soulful and sagacious postwoman who bops around Detroit delivering advice about parents, pets, and friendship... When bluesman Derrick Semler, in the voice of the lovably slurpy Rover, pairs up with Wright, the combination of passionate pooch and pestered postwoman is hysterical...I know I'd rather help my kids do the hand motions to 'Stop! in the Name of Love' than endure the strains of a painfully sincere Canadian singing about a baby beluga whale... "
