ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Remastered tunes from early 80's London. The three Jones brothers still working with the guitar power of Kevin Mann for the bulk of the tunes which were recorded for Miles Copeland (former manager of the Police) in Ladbroke Grove , London. Legendary sound sculptor, Marc Lusardi also engineers two of the songs including the title track. One Welsh tune on the album was recorded at Sain Studios in North Wales with bass player Mark Whiteley (Folk Devils and The Stranglers), and produced by Dafydd Iwan and Hefin Ellis. Golden Ghost was recorded at the Boilerhouse in High Wycombe. All these songs were performed live in London and the home counties in 1983 and 1984. Red Beat went on to sign with a German label but that's a story for the next album.
