ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is our third album and was recorded mostly live in studio, including well-worn songs from various band members archives, selections which were never formally recorded. Our band and this release have a very diverse sound, reflecting a wide variety of influences across multiple genres. Adding to the mix is a unique blend of instruments, guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, harmonica and washboard. Don't expect standard bass lines or drums from the engine room: Brian Beer and Bill Fritsch, the best rhythm section around. The real highlight of our music is our star vocalist Rebecca Johnson - you'll fall in love with her expressive phrasing and perfect tonality. She is also a rippin' harmonica player and phenomenal songwriter. Stephen Pescitelli, a well known local singer songwriter, adds solid earthy lead vocals and right-on harmonies. He also plays the hot licks and the lilting rhythm on guitar, as well as adding the fiery fills on the mandolin. Alan Deaton is a talented multi-intrumentalist, adding banjo, ukulele, harmonica, washboard, etc. and belts out great lead vocals on his well-crafted originals.
