ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Regina writes from the heart, focusing on cheerful lyrics and interesting melodies. Calling herself an optimistic pessimist, she wrote many of these songs as a way to instill more positive thinking in her life, reminding us that we are all where we belong at all times. Playful tunes such as "The Penguin Song" and "Happy Are We" will leave you smiling. The album also includes more introspective themes such as spiritual growth, choosing to be a "Solterona" (single woman) and facing the end of one's youth. International jazz guitarist Neal Alger accompanies Regina, deepening harmonies and lightening accents. Electric bass and acoustic percussion fill out many of the songs. This is the perfect music to relax with when you want some positive words or are in a more reflective mood.
