On October 19th 2018, Stevens releases “Celebrate,” - an album of all-new, original songs that harken back to the classics of yesteryear.

Self-penned by Stevens, Jon Kubis and Carnell Harrell, this collection of songs pays homage to the inkwell of treasured hits by Nat King Cole, Donny Hathaway, Brenda Lee, Frank Sinatra, and The Carpenters.

Produced and Orchestrated by Jon Kubis composer/arranger/producer@ DWTS and Universal Japan, the album showcases accomplished musicians throughout.

Featured musicians include #1 Billboard smooth jazz artists; Chris Standring and Jessy J., along with pianist Carnell Harrell (musical director for Jennifer Lopez), Nelson Braxton (The Braxton Brothers and Michael Bolton), drummer Dave Karasony (The Rippingtons and Keiko Matsui), the DWTS alumni brass ensemble including Scott Mayo (Sergio Mendes), Javier Antonio Gonzalez, Andrew Lippman and vocalist's LaVance Colley, Jarrett Johnson (Michael Buble, Take 6), and Alexx Daye (Patti Labelle, Ne-Yo, Frank Ocean).

A note from the liner notes perhaps best captures the spirit of the album:

"May this album lighten your spirit, enrich your soul, and provide a meaningful backdrop to your celebrations for many years to come." Love, Rehya

ALBUM LYRICS

Happy Holiday
Written by: Rehya Stevens & Jon Kubis

It’s that special time of year
Everybody’s happy to be
With the ones they treasure near
Making memories

Hurry up, hurry up
I can’t wait to see your smile
Hurry up, hurry up
You’ve been away for such a long time
Hurry up, hurry up (yeah, yeah)
I can’t wait to hold you in my arms

Chorus:
Let’s have ourselves
A holiday
This is our time to celebrate
We’re gonna laugh (yeah)
Our worries away
And have a happy holiday
Together
Together, yeah...

I’ve got the fire blazing bright
While Nat King Cole sings “Merry Christmas to you”
The mistletoes hung high
And gifts surround our tree
So come on…

Hurry up, hurry up
I can’t wait to see your smile
Hurry up, hurry up
You’ve been away for such a long, long time
Hurry up, hurry up
I can’t wait to hold you in my arms

Chorus:
And have ourselves
A holiday
These are special times to celebrate
We’re gonna laugh (so hurry up, yeah)
Our cares away
And have a happy holiday
Together

Bridge:
It’s our time
Come on and celebrate
I can’t wait to see you again

Hurry up, hurry up
Can’t wait to see your smile
Hurry up, hurry up
I’ve been waiting such a long time
Hurry up, hurry up
Baby, I just wanna to hold you in my arms

Chorus:
And have ourselves
A holiday
These are special times
We’re gonna laugh
Our cares  away
And have a happy holiday
Let’s have ourselves
A holiday
These are special times
To celebrate
We’re gonna laugh (so hurry up, yeah)
Our worries away
And have a happy holiday
It’s time to celebrate

With you and you, you and you, you and you
Come on and celebrate
With you and you, you and you, you and you
Whoa…

Forget your worries
Forget your troubles
Let’s have a good time
(Baby it’s the season to celebrate)
Forget your worries
Forget your troubles
And have a good time
A good time
(It’s time to celebrate)
Whoa…
Baby it’s the season to celebrate
Whoa...
Let’s get together!

A Christmas Song
Written by: Rehya Stevens & Jon Kubis

Twinkling lights through window panes
Chimneys white with billowed clouds
Evergreen fragrant on the breeze
And folks are hanging stars up on the bows

Yuletide gatherings
Making spirits bright
All our troubles seem worlds away
With friends stopping by
For no reason why
But to say happy holidays

Presents under the topless trees
Stockings hung by the fire
Little ones try not to sleep
Listening for sleigh bells in the sky

Future memories
Making spirits bright
All our worries seem worlds away
With friends stopping by
For no reason why
But to say happy holidays

Soon the winter will melt into spring
And we'll be glad to see the flowers
On a world in bloom when the birds start to sing
But until then may your dreams all come true
And happy holidays to you

Come In From The Cold
Written By: Rehya Stevens & Jon Kubis

Reckless winds
Violent clouds
Winter’s taken over

Withered leaves
Broken boughs
Seasons take her toll

I’ve been wandering
I’ve been weary
Oooo
Oooo
You’ve been waiting
You’ve been calling
Oooo
Saying, won't come on home?
Why don’t you come in from the cold?

Fruitless years
Endless hours
And nothing much to show

Silent fears
What fates they’ve drowned
May be better not to know

I’ve been sorry
I’ve been crashing
Oooo
Oooo
You’ve been wondering
You’ve been asking
Oooh…
Why don't you come on home?

Solo

I have travelled a million miles
Oooo
Oooo
I have battled a thousand trials
Oooo
Oooo
Now I'm comin' home
Don't worry I'm coming home
I'm coming home
You say, come on...
I'm coming home

Every step I take
Every breath I take
I'm on my way
Every memory
I'll trade in for better days
I'm on my way

Jingle Jangle
Written by: Rehya Stevens & Jon Kubis

It's the most wonderful time of year
Cocoa on kettles, laughter & cheer
Jingle Jangle it's Christmas time again

Play some carols, light up the tree
And pop some corn to put on a string
To the jingle jangle of Christmas time again

Bridge:
Giddy up, giddy up off we go
To the Jolly Town Parade
Giddy up, giddy up in the snow
To the jingle jangle on an open sleigh, oh

It's my favorite time of year
On a sleigh ride together in the frosty air
Jingle jangle it's Christmas time again

Bridge:
Giddy up, giddy up off we go
Down to Peppermint Town Lane
Giddy up, giddy off to bed we go
While Santa does the jingle jangle all the way, oh

It's the most magical time of year
We'll be reminiscing when the spring is here
Until jingle jangle it's Christmas time again
'Til jingle jangle it's Christmas time again
Jingle jangle it's Christmas time again

Celebrate
Written By: Rehya Stevens & Carnell Harrell

Everybody gather round
Friends & family
Let the spirit of love surround us
Like the gifts surround our tree

For we travel young and old
The terrain that this world brings
For the triumphs that we know
Through the broken hearts and dreams

So gather round the table now
In this time we share

Chorus:
Let the heavens reign now
The heavens reign now
And forever
Forever
Let your spirit rejoice
Lift up your voice
And remember
To celebrate

So many lives in disrepair
And suffering unseen
So many souls in need of care
And humble offerings

With generous heart
And Joyous Love
Help is on the way

Chorus:
Let the heavens reign now
The heavens reign now
And forever
Forever
Through every struggle we known
We’re never alone
So together
We Celebrate

Bridge:
Because mercy came
Because mercy saves
Everyone

Chorus:
So let the heavens reign now
The heavens reign now
And forever
Forever
Through all of our years
In the time that we’re here
Together
Let’s  Celebrate

Outro:
 Joy To The World
Let earth receive her king

Fly past my roof
Written by: Rehya Stevens & Carnell Harrell

The snow's coming down tonight
Like sugar
Like sugar
Carols fill the air
Sweet & light
Like sugar
Like sugar

I'm falling for you
Baby my heart is all aglow
You whispered you love me
Under the mistletoe

Chorus:

Santa Clause let me spare you a trip
Tell the elves that I don't need a gift
And tell Rudolph & the boys
That I've got plenty of joys
And Santa, you know it's the truth
They've been gettin' long in the tooth
So fly on past my roof
Christmas night

I'm in a winter wonderland
Of heaven
I'm in heaven
With someone to hold your hand
Life is heaven
Heaven

I'm falling for you
Lately my heart is all aglow
My dreams they've come true
Under the mistletoe

Chorus:
Santa Clause let me spare you a trip
Tell the elves that I don't need a gift
And tell Rudolph and your boys
That I've got plenty of joys
And the smile on my face is the proof
I've been gettin' long in the tooth
So ride on past my roof
Christmas night

Chorus:
Santa Clause let me spare you a trip
Tell the elves that I don't need a gift
And tell Rudolph & the boys
That I've got plenty of joys
And Santa you know it's the truth
You've been gettin' long in the tooth
So ride on past my roof

Gloria
Written by: Rehya Stevens, Peter Martin, Jon Kubis

An angel of The Lord appeared
With glad tidings of Jesus' birth
To the lowly shepherds of the fields
So that humble souls would know their worth
Singing Gloria

The Wise men traveled from afar
Guided by a shining star
To a manger in Bethlehem
Bearing gifts for him
Singing Gloria
Glory to God in the highest

For he shall reign
King Of all kings
Holy lamb of God
Born to save this weary world
Jesus Christ is born

Though Herod was threatening
In power of Israel
None could perish the new born king
For God protected Emmanuel
So we sing Gloria
Glory to God in the highest

For he shall reign
Forever
This baby boy
Born to save this troubled world
Hail to the son of God
Hallelujah, Jesus Christ is born
Hallelujah, Jesus Christ is lord
For we are blessed this Christmas Day
Jesus Christ is born

Welcome Home
Written By: Rehya Stevens & Jon Kubis

What do you need this weary night?
A warm, safe place could ease your mind
Or something lovely prepared
A setting made with special care

Welcome Home, Welcome Home
Hang your hat, I'll take your coat
Won't you make yourself at home

It's clear that you have travelled far
I hope you'll find reprieve
In these old familiar rooms
Rest your cares and talk to me

Welcome Home, Welcome Home
I'll fill your glass, I'll listen close
Won't you make yourself at home

Welcome Home, Welcome Home
No need to ask from now on
Won't you make yourself at home

Snowfall
Written by: Rehya Stevens, Jon Kubis, Duane Niellson

Red-Gold leaves have fallen
You feel a deep kind chill in the air
Still not much has changed
‘Round here

Ooooweeeooooo
Ooooweeeooooo

Good old friends returning
Everybody’s home
It’s like old days again
Full grown

Ooooweeeooooo
Ooooweeeooooo

I rode my bike through every single street
In this neighborhood
'Til I was old enough to drive away
Now it sure feels good

To feel the chill creepin’ in
These old fashioned window panes again
When the snow falls down
Old floorboards that give you up
Just as you’re barely sneakin' in
When the snow falls down

Weatherman’s warning
There’s a storm comin' in
Fill up your cup
Saddlin’ in

Ooooweeeooooo
Ooooweeeooooo

Eighteen restless winters spent
Here in these rooms
Waiting for the spring to come
But now it just feels good

To feel the chill creepin’ in
These old fashioned window panes again
When the snow falls down
Old floorboards that give you up
Just as you’re barely sneakin ‘in
When the snow falls down

Bridge:
It's funny how you never know
The things you'll miss the most
While you're chasing a bigger life
Born from small town dreams

Guitar Solo

Now I just wanna feel the chill creepin’ in
These old fashioned window panes again
When the snow falls down
Old floorboards that give you up
Just as you’re barely sneakin ‘in
When the snow falls
The old tree house in the yard
Strummin' my first guitar again
When the snow falls
Swinging' out on the porch
Watching' these northern stars again
When the snow falls

Outro:
And who woulda thought
That I'd miss these simple things
Like how good it feels just to take a walk
In the park - all bundled up
Or swingin' out on the porch
Strummin' my old guitar
And who woulda thought
I could be happy just being
Just being
Mmmmhmmm
