Album Notes
The Respectables summer vacation ended with a trip to Big Sky in Ann Arbor to capture the band at it's spontaneous best. With Geoff Michael again at the helm, the band blistered their way through three new songs recorded the old fashioned way. Four guys in the same room, on the same day, tearing it up without the smoke and mirrors that disguises real rock and roll. Vocals were saved for another day when just the right amount of fuel (cognac) delivered the perfect vibe to match what the boys laid down. "Check Your Mind" (driving, jangle perfection), "Wore Me Out" (blues like you haven't heard), and "B Side" (anything but a b side) are 11 minutes you won't soon forget.

The Respectables
Three great tunes at a give away price. If you love hard hitting Detroit Style Rock these songs are the real deal with very solid playing by the guys on these very well written songs. Beyond the top shelve quality of the tracks themselves the production is first rate as well with the vocals and instruments well defined in the mix which is a real treat to my ears.

Also noteworthy are some great lyrics and melodies, after a few spins I found myself singing along and wishing there were more than three tracks on this EP. In short, I was left wanting to hear more from this great Motor City group.
